Ask your own files: a private AI search for your firm's documents
Somewhere on the file server is the letter that settled this exact question two years ago. Someone remembers it exists; nobody remembers where. Twenty minutes of searching later, the colleague who wrote it is on holiday. What if you could simply ask?
The short answer: an AI can read your documents and answer questions from them, quoting the passages it used, so every answer can be checked. Run on servers in Switzerland, Meow's or your own, and operated for you, the documents stay there, and each person only gets answers from files they may already open. How to test it

One shared folder or one type of document: procedures, templates, past advice. A narrow start is easier to test, and to trust.
Questions colleagues actually ask, each with the document that holds the answer. That list becomes your test.
Which folders are open to everyone and which are restricted. The search has to respect that from the first day.
Word, PDF, scans, emails. Scans need text recognition first: count how many you have.
Ask the 30 questions and check each answer against its source: right, partly right, wrong, or “not found” when the answer isn't there.
An answer saying the documents don't cover it is better than one made up. Note how often it invents.
Ask about a restricted file as someone without access. The answer must not reveal it.
Some folders, such as HR files or disputes, may stay out of the search entirely.

Why it runs in Switzerland
To answer from your documents, the AI has to read them, and to answer quickly it keeps an index of them. Both hold the substance of your files. Run in Switzerland and operated for you, neither is handed to a foreign AI provider.
