Wealth managers and family offices
Discretion is what your clients pay for.
AI can take the reading off your team: KYC files checked, distribution requests read against the trust deed, client documents redacted. Run by Meow on servers in Switzerland, tested on your own documents first, with a person deciding what leaves.
You talk to Guillermo Pages, who builds your AI.
The question first
Can a wealth manager put client data into ChatGPT? Professional secrecy under the Financial Institutions Act
The short answer: for a portfolio manager or a trustee, what clients entrust is a professional secret under the Financial Institutions Act, and even a careless disclosure is punishable. An AI tool is only an option under a contract that keeps the secret, in a country the law accepts, used by people who know the rules.
Even by mistake?
- CHF 250'000
A fine of up to CHF 250,000 for revealing a client secret through negligence, under the Financial Institutions Act. No intent needed (art. 69 FinIA).
- 3 years
The maximum custodial sentence for doing it on purpose, and up to 5 years when someone gains from it. The duty lasts after the job ends (art. 69 FinIA).
- US law
US providers can be required to hand data they control to US authorities, even when it is stored in Switzerland (CLOUD Act).
From the guide checked against the law on 30 September 2026. Read the whole guide

How the work is run
- Where your documents are read
- During a test: on a GPU server at Meow's office in Switzerland, with no cloud provider in between, then deleted with a written confirmation. In operation: in Infomaniak's Swiss cloud, on Meow's servers in Switzerland or at your premises.
- A person decides
- The AI drafts, sorts and flags. Anything that leaves the firm, or changes a register, waits for someone on your team.
- Who runs it
- Meow, a Swiss company and Infomaniak Partner. From the first call, you deal with the person who builds and runs your AI.
Questions firms ask first
Where are our documents during the test?
On a GPU server at Meow's office in Switzerland, under an NDA signed before anything is sent. They are deleted at the end, and you receive a written confirmation.
Who sees them?
Only Guillermo Pages, who runs the test. The models run on Meow's own hardware: no AI provider receives the documents.
We have an IT provider, or a group IT department.
A workshop or a test is a contained piece of work: no access to your systems, no software to install. Its report gives your IT what it needs to decide on the next step.
Which documents work?
PDFs, Word and Excel files, emails and scans. Scans are read page by page by a vision model; their quality shows in the scores.
What happens after the test?
If the scores are good enough for you, the workflow goes into operation, with the test's price credited if you order within three months. If they aren't, the report says why, and that is where it stops.
How is a file sweep priced?
CHF 7'500 to set it up on a sample of your files, then CHF 30 per file. 300 files come to about CHF 16'500, excluding VAT.
Who is behind Meow?
Guillermo Pages, who founded Meow and builds and runs its private AI. Meow is a Swiss company and an Infomaniak Partner; its servers are in Switzerland.
